・おたすけ横丁

宮本町通りとこの横丁の角に「おたすけ石」があるためこの名前が付けられました。この石は横山陶器店の以前の住宅の磁石で、車から家の角を守るためのものです。
子どもが２回ほど交通事故を避けられたというエピソードもあります。

・Otasuke Alley

This alley was given its name for the “Otasuke Stone” located at the corner where it meets Miyamotocho-dori Street. This stone is a magnet from the residence that used to be where the Yokoyama Pottery Shop stands today, and it is said to protect the corner of the house from cars.
There are also tales in which children have avoided accidents here on two occasions.

是因為在宮本町通和此橫丁的轉角處有一塊「援助石」而命名的街道。該石頭原本是橫山陶器店舊屋的磁石，是為了防止車子擦撞到房子外角而設置的。
還有兩次讓兒童避開交通事故的小插曲。

・Ruelle Otasuke

À l'angle de la rue Miyamotocho et de cette ruelle, on trouve une pierre appelée otasuke ishi (littéralement, la pierre protectrice), qui a donné son nom à la ruelle. En effet, provenant de l'habitation sur laquelle se dresse aujourd'hui le magasin de céramiques Yokoyama, elle protégeait l'angle du bâtiment contre les voitures.
Elle a ainsi sauvé à deux reprises la vie d'un enfant qui, sans cette pierre, aurait pu finir écrasé.
