沿道の建物が建て替わる前は、庇（しさし）が入り組んでおり、まるでトンネルのような路地を形成していました。現在も地元の方々の重要な通りとして親しまれています。

Before the buildings along the alley were rebuilt, there was a series of eaves that wove together and formed a tunnel-like atmosphere. Even today the alley plays an important role and is loved by local residents.

Avant qu'ils ne soient rénovés, les bâtiments en bordure disposaient d'un avant-toit, si bien qu'autrefois, la ruelle s'apparentait véritablement à un tunnel. Elle reste encore aujourd'hui une rue importante appréciée de la population locale.
